Life Update-Air Force Retirement

I don’t write much about my family but this is a big update!  My husband is retiring from the Air Force after 20 years service today.  I can’t begin to tell you how proud I am of him and all he has done for our country and our family. 20 years of service is a great accomplishment in the Air Force, and in any military branch. He has done our country a major service that comes with a lot of stories for generations to come. I have been blessed to be a part of his last 10 years of your service. I have taken great pride in being a military spouse.  I am blessed to have been a part of the military life and all its ups and downs.  It helped make me who I am today.  When you are part of a military family it is a whole different love.  You are brought in by strangers who you later call family.  Then when you PCS (move bases) you end up with a lot of places to visit all your military family.  You pick up right where you left off.  I am thankful for all my military family.  It will be a different feeling not being a part of the military life.

I am thankful for everything my husband has done for our family and our country.  I love you so very much, babe. I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for us, no matter how scary it is….hahaha.  There’s so much more I could write but I’ll leave it here.  We are onto the next chapter!

Until next time…
