Interesting title? Let me explain. I was at a friends house on Sunday evening sitting on a bar stool at her kitchen island chit chatting with her while she was cooking/baking. Along comes a coughing fit. A doosey one where I see stars and shake. Well this one went a little farther and I blacked out for a second and fell out of the bar stool straight on my face. Yes, you read that right. Pictures below…
The progression so far. The last picture is this afternoon. I’m just thankful I didn’t break my nose. My friend came running, she freaked out a little as would anyone. She didn’t know what to do. All I could do was laugh out of humiliation. It’s going to get worse before it gets better. It will be all sorts of colors before it is healed. I went in public today and managed. haha
Health update: I’m hanging in there. I’m coughing more at times, as the above post signifies. haha. I’m still sleeping a lot unless I have to get up for a reason. I go back to Barnes for transplant clinic the first week of June where I will finish all the testing and meetings I need to do.
Until next time…
Wow I hope you heal fast. I had issue where I fell flat on my face, lost 2 teeth eventually a few years later. Feel better.
Need to start wearing a seat belt, girl! Hope you heal quickly!
Keep up the good fight. You are getting closer every day to the transplant.
Make that Last name Miller, sorry it’s really not that hard to spell and I have been working on it for 75 years
Haha Funny guy!
I wish I could tell you that these things stop after transplant, LOL… But for this blonde girl I did that to my face after transplant by swinging open the hatchback on my Jeep and then closing it on my head in a grocery store parking lot. ✌ 😉
