WOW!  We had a great tournament that raised $1,508!!!!  I’m amazed at the turn out once again.  We have great friends that offer great support.  We appreciate it very much, it means the world to us.

Thank you to The Casual Pint for letting us invade the grounds to hold the tournament.  Also thank you to the Pint for your donation, it is greatly appreciated.  Thank you to Sun Tan City for coming out and enduring the heat with the prize wheel.  The raffle baskets were a big hit.  My nervousness subsided when people showed up and started buying raffle tickets.  I was nervous we wouldn’t have a good turn out but you all showed me!  Thank you for that.

We also had a gum ball guess that was hanging out at the Pint for a month prior to the tournament for fun and advertising.  It just so happens that it was a Pint regular that ended up guessing only 23 off from the number of gum balls.  Trey and Jessica were the winners.  It was a 50/50 pot guess.  They also won the pot which they donated back to the lung fund.  That was a blessing.  Thank  you Trey and Jessica for donating.  I hope you enjoy your 1333 gum balls. hahaha.

The Shannonigans Lung Fund is growing.  Me, being the planner that I am would like all of the money needed in there now so that there are no worries later of where will the money come from.  I try to keep my type A personality at bay and not all over the place. hahaha.

HEALTH UPDATE:  I finished IVs on Thursday.  I have been “catching up” on sleep because one of the IV antibiotics I was on was every 6 hours which means I didn’t get much sleep and when I did sleep it was chopped up.  So needless to say I have been sleeping a lot.  I do feel “better” than I did but I say that lightly.  I get out of breath just talking but that is part of having such low lung function.

LIFE UPDATE:  We went to Alpharetta, GA to see Darius Rucker last weekend.  We were able to spend some time with my husband Uncle, Aunt, cousins and their families before the concert which was great considering he hadn’t seen them in a really long time.  Now for the concert.  It was amazing!!  I was able to check seeing Darius in concert off my bucket list.
